Can you say Mama?

Does it mean anything about your skills as a mother when your child refuses to say Mama? Bryton constantly says "Dada", but "Mama" almost never! I know he can say it, because I've heard him say it before, but for the most part it's just "Dada, Dada, Dada"! I know "Dada" is easier to say, and so usually comes first, but sheesh! It's getting out of control. This is a snippet from a little "conversation" Larry and Bryton had yesterday.
Larry- " Say LaLaLa"
Bryton- "LaLaLa"
Larry- "Say Yaay!"
Bryton- "Aaay"
Larry- " Say Mmmm"
Bryton- "Mmmm"
Larry- "Say Dada"
Bryton- "Dada!"
Larry- "Say Mama"
Bryton- "Dada!"

Sniff.

Actually look at it as a good thing. In teh middle of the night when you are all snuggly in bed and Bryton needs something, whose name will he call? Nor yours but Dada!! :) Then you can just tell Larry "Honey, he really wants you, you better get up and take care of him."
It is all an evil plan of motherhood :)

Haha, I guess at least he hasn't done what little Randy does-- he was saying MAMA for EVERYTHING and now he is reverting to dada... hmmm. That is really great though that he can mimic all of those words already! A genius like his mommy :) I sure hope we can make it up there and meet up sometime soon! Any chance you will be coming down here anytime soon? Christmas maybe?

Oh, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pea in the pod costume!

Aww! How cute that he can say a couple things! That's so fun! I think "Dada" is easier to say than Mama. I don't know why but Leena did that too. But when she mastered Mama, she didn't ask for her dad anymore, ha. He'll say it in time! :) CUte pictures by the way! Love your family one!
