Look at all this fun stuff!
Things I learned from "Favorite Things" night:
1. You can use a Q-tip to light hard-to-reach candle wicks, remove dust from grooves in picture frames, scrollwork, or other knick knack crevices, clean in between remote control or telephone buttons, they are perfect paintbrushes for little hands, and have lots of other uses I never thought of.
2. How to make honey butter- Yum!
3. How to keep your house clean with just 30 minutes a day.
4. I need to get Jillian Michaels' "No More Trouble Zones" DVD.
5. There are actually a lot of great tasting, healthy foods available out there.
6. I need to visit the Don Aslett Cleaning Center.
7. Peppermint foot cream is great for helping the swelling in huge pregnant feet.
8. How to make a cute gift basket for $3.
9. There are lots of neat finds in vintage book stores.
10. Missionary farewells in the 1920's often included accordion solos.
11. How to make my own all-purpose cleaner.
12. Rod Works is an awesome store.
13. I need to learn how to sew.
14. Recipes for Mrs. Fields' cookies, awesome salsa, lime chicken tacos (yummy!), strawberry shortcake trifle, delicious snack mix, pan eclairs, yummy and easy meatloaf, and amazing chicken croissant sandwiches.
15. My contribution was to inform everyone where to find Down East Outfitters shirts and tanks for $2.50, and dresses for $5. (At the Down East Outfitters Clearance CLEARANCE (yes, that's 2 clearances!) center in West Valley, in case anyone is interested. Just keep in mind that you might want to go during the day, and bring a friend for protection- it is West Valley after all. This store is a great lesson in the fact that if you're willing to dig through a lot of crap you can find some cheap treasures!
16. The most amazing thing I learned all night- Marci does not have a crock pot! How can you live?! And that she'd better stay up here, because if she goes down to Provo she might get shot for that! (Inside joke for those who are confused!)

Thanks for the reminder not to enter Utah County in my crock-pot free condition! You crack me up!
Thanks for the fun post. I am back in the blog world I think. I like the picture of all the goodies.
