I'm Not Dead!

Just wanted to post and let everyone know I'm still here! I haven't dropped off the face of the earth- several things have just happened to keep me out of the blogosphere and off Facebook for a while. First, we decided to get rid of our internet provider because it was too slow and kept acting up. We have not gotten around to finding another provider yet, because we're not sure what direction we want to go in- do we bundle with cable, do internet separately, etc... Most people would probably die without internet for over a month, but we lived without it for years before we had Bryton, so I guess we're doing ok. I can occasionally catch up on my blogging on my work computer, but Facebook is blocked from my school, so updating that is definately not happening.
The second thing that happened to keep me from blogging is that LARRY LEFT OUR VIDEO CAMERA AND A FULL MEMORY CARD OF PICTURES IN A HOTEL ROOM IN PORTLAND! We went on vacation to Oregon and on the last day Larry put the video camera up on a shelf in the hotel room- I'm not even going to get into the fact that right before we left I asked him if he remembered it was there and if he was going to pack it, and he said "of course"- ok- I guess I sort of just got into it, but now I'm going to leave it alone- and anyhow, it got left. We contacted the hotel immediately and they found it and assured us they would send it priority right away. Well, over a week came and went without us receiving the camera, so finally Larry called again to check if they had sent it. The guy he talked to had no idea what he was talking about, but said he would check up on it and call us back. He called the next day and said it had been mailed the previous day, which I think means that the dumb lady we talked to the first time forgot about it until we called, and so they rushed to put it in the mail when they realized they were about to have trouble. So, we SHOULD get it in 3-4 days. When we get our pictures back I'll be able to do some massive picture postings of the last of our summer and our fun-filled Oregon vacay.
Before I go I just need to give a little shoutout to my BYU COUGS! Beating number 3 Oklahoma and completely destroying Tulane! We were watching the Oklahoma game in our hotel room- The same one we left the camera in- and we were just jumping up and down on the bed screaming. Bryton didn't really know what was going on but he had fun imitating us and yelling "Cou-gas!" He knows what's up!
