The third day of our fun-filled trip was spent at Sea World. Our friend Brooke's soon to be brother-in-law works there so he was able to get us all free tickets, which was very nice. Bryton loves all sorts of animals, and when we took him to Sea World in San Diego a few months ago he absolutely loved it, so we were excited to take him again. It was a fun day and we all enjoyed ourselves except for the RAIN! It poured pretty much all day. The nice thing about it was that there was hardly anyone in the park- literally- so we were able to do everything we wanted, but after 6 hours of wet socks and squishy shoes we were ready to call it a day. The best part is that we forgot to pay attention to where exactly we had parked, so we went out to the parking lot and started looking. The sky chose that exact moment to let loose with the largest downpour of the day, while we were wandering around aimlessly trying to find the car before we drowned! Luckily we found it within a few minutes! Bryton's favorite parts were the seals and sea lions, and we also got to feed some dolphins. I even got to touch one. I also fed a sting ray which was a weird experience. They suction the food out of your hand with their gaping mouths, and it is actually pretty scary! Brooke also fed the dolphins and stingrays but the boys refused. They are such wimps! They didn't want to touch the fish to feed the animals, and they wouldn't touch the stingrays either. Funny that both the guys were the scaredy cats! Of course I was the only one who refused to ride the roller coasters, so I guess we'll call it even!
