We decided to take a Saturday family outing to This is the Place Monument. It is a restored pioneer village with authentic cabins, houses, and stores from 1800's. The workers dress up like pioneers to make the experience seem more real. There are lots of activities for families and we had a lot of fun!
Playing in the kid sized cabins in the kid village All Aboard! Playing in a cabin full of pioneer toys Little cowboy! Learning pioneer style in the one room schoolhouse
Larry and I were married on May 4, 2001. Larry is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and I am originally from San Bernardino, CA. We met at the King Henry apartment complex in Provo, UT while attending BYU. Larry is a loan aquisition officer in the National Commercial Real Estate Department at Zions Bank, and I worked as a 4th grade teacher in the Jordan School District for 4 years, and am now a stay-at-home mom. Our baby boy Bryton was born on Valentines Day 2008, and he is the love of our lives!
