We've been hanging out a lot with family over the past month. Larry's parents have been in town and we've been doing a lot with them. They just left this week and it was sad to see them go.
We also went on a vacation to California last week. We went camping at San Mateo with Ryan, Amber, and Summer, and went to San Onofre everyday so the boys could surf. It was lots of fun, but I think I'll wait until Bryton's a little older before we take another multi-night camping trip like that again. He had a little bit of a hard time without his crib, and also got a little sick. It isn't too fun when you've got a screaming baby, and a campground full of people that you don't want to wake up! Over all it was a fun trip though. Bryton liked playing in the sand, and now just needs to learn that it's not food!
My little crawler!
Now that Bryton can crawl, he likes to get into whatever he can. This evening was spent pulling out magazines and ripping them up

Go Bryton!
A day at Thanksgiving point with the fam- I hoped Bryton would like the animals at the petting zoo, but he wasn't too interested!

Cute little Summer!
Summer deciding to ride Bryton at the beach. As you can see he didn't like it too much!

hey!!! so glad you posted, but too bad we missed you! we actually live not too far from san onofre, about 30 mins... hey by the way sorry for the flake out when i was up there visiting. it got rather tricky shuffling cars to get down there. we sure need to meet up sometime- your little guy is so cute, and i am so so excited he came to join you and larry :) i always will remember coming over to hang out when you lived in those married apts. off 9th east in provo! well hope all is going well, sounds like you are probably enjoying your own beds and being home:) tell everyone a huge hello from me, we'll talk to you soon!
p.s. i thought brie had blocked me too, but turns out she is just blocking everyone for a bit while she "fixes" her blog?? so keep checking back and hopefully it will work soon!
I officially give you props for taking a under one year old, camping! Then again, that is the place to do that. Up here, it's freezing cold, and you get rained on. I think that's why I take rainchecks on it now! Babies are so much fun, espcially one they've figured out how to get around. I got lucky, Leena didn't get into a THING. She'd maybe rip out the cat hair (obviously out of the cat) and taste test it, but I think your little mans method of shredded magazines, is much better!
I can't believe he is CRAWLING!! Crazy isn't it??? Dang Griff gets into EVERYTHING and he is trying to walk ahhhhhh!
I showed Summer your blog today and she just about jumped out of her pants over the pictures of Bryton. She was pointing and saying baby. She also learned to say his name "Brighty"! She was so excited and she loves that little guy a ton.
