Merry Christmas!

We hosted Christmas at our house again this year. We were joined by my parents, my sister, my brother, his wife, and their two girls. Larry's parents and brother also joined us for a few hours. We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner and then everyone spent the night so that we could open presents together in the morning and see the kids' reactions when they saw their Santa presents. Bryton understood more this year than last, but still didn't quite get it all. He knows who Santa is (sort of) and he knew that he was getting presents, which he was very excited about. That was all that made sense to him! Before the kids went to bed, we looked out the widow for Santa's sleigh and Rudolph's glowing red nose. Bryton and Summer were both looking so intently and then Bryton shouted at the top of his lungs," I see Santa!" and pointed out the window. It was adorable. He was so excited to see his basketball hoop Christmas morning, and he LOVED all the cars he got. He was literally shaking with excitement when he got those cars! It was a wonderful Christmas!

Bryton opened these cars in his stocking and lay right down to play with them. He probably could have stayed here for several hours if we hadn't moved him on to the next thing!
