Wow, I am behind on blogging! It is already past New Year and I'm just getting the Thanksgiving pics up! Hopefully I will be completely up-to-date within the next few days! For Thanksgiving this year we went to see my parents in California. They are remodeling their house and basically had no kitchen to speak of. My Mom did her best however and was able to pull together some great Thanksgiving food with only an oven and microwave- no counters, no running water in the kitchen, no dishwasher, no floors. It was interesting to see her running to the bathroom to fill buckets with water for the cooking and cleaning. I know she is glad to finally have her kitchen almost completed because she said that was not a fun experience! On Thanksgiving day we went to my Uncle Mark and Aunt Patti's house. This is a Thanksgiving tradition that we were sad to have missed last year, but were happy to be back this year. The food was delicious, the weather was great, and the company was wonderful! The day after Thanksgiving we did a little bit of Black Friday shopping, but we waited until the afternoon to go out- we did not stand in lines at 4:30 in the morning. NO shopping is worth that to me- and I happen to love shopping. I've just come to realize since having a baby that sleep is more precious than almost any other activity, and I do not give it up easily! Before leaving California we took Bryton to Sea World for the day. He LOVES animals of all kinds and we knew he would love this. He had so much fun, and we had a great time watching him have a great time!

Visiting the penguins

At one point it started raining (as you can see from the splotches on Larry and Bryton's jackets) and we had to turn to the indoor aquariums for a while.
